The INSECTA 2017 as International Symposium on Insects as Feed, Food and Non-Food was jointly organized by PPM and ATB on September 7.and 8. 2017. More than 250 attendees from research and industry got an overview of the newest developments in the field of insect technology in more than 40 lectures and by numerous scientific posters. In addition to an excellent scientific program and reports from the producing industry, the coffee breaks and especially the dinner in the dinosaur world of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, gave the opportunity to discuss with the experts about the utilization of insects in the near future.
